Phillips Academy was established with a mission to educate "youth from every quarter" in the pursuit of both knowledge and goodness. Its guiding principle, "non sibi" (not for self), shapes a community committed to diversity and inclusion, where students and faculty are encouraged to respect and learn from one another. The school balances academic rigour with character development, extensive arts programming, and community engagement.
